Round 2/Pick 33
The Pick: Kaleb McGary, OT, Washington

Starting right tackle Joe Barksdale is set to be a free agent. McGary had a great week at the Senior Bowl. He is a nasty blocker. McGary has good technique and nice feet. He should be a plug and play starter.

The Arizona Cardinals crashed and burned in 2018 with a 3-13 record. First-year coach Steve Wilks was let go following the campaign. Surprisingly, the Cards hired former Texas Tech head man Kliff Kingsbury. Kingsbury himself was fired after the season.

GM Steve Keim has to do everything in his power to help build the team around quarterback Josh Rosen. Rosen, my QB1 in 2018, was thrown to the wolves in a desperate situation last year. Arizona needs to continue to build around him.

Today, I will go through all seven rounds of a mock draft to see if I can make the Arizona Cardinals a better team. I will use my own big board, with User-Votes team needs, and the difficult setting at the draft simulator site
Fanspeak. You all can do the same.

5/140: Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma
Alijah Holder, CB, Stanford
Mitch Hyatt, OT, Clemson
Ryan Anderson, C, Wake Forest
Darius Slayton, WR, Auburn
Gerri Green, LB, Mississippi State

Round 3/Pick 65
The Pick: Riley Ridley, WR, Georgia

Larry Fitzgerald can’t play forever. Christian Kirk was a great addition last year. Chad Williams hasn’t worked out to this point. Riley Ridley has big play ability. He has all the traits you want in a number one receiver. However, his production is mighty low. This would be a great place to draft someone of his talent.

Round 1/Pick 1
The Pick: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

If you keep the number one pick, then you have to take one of the two best players. That will either be Nick Bosa or Quinnen Williams. Either would be perfect for Arizona. I decided to go with Bosa for the pick. Pairing him with Chandler Jones will give Arizona an unbelievable pass rush. Bosa missed a chunk of 2018 with an injury. However, you see enough to know that he will be special.

Arizona Cardinals: 7-Round Mock Draft2-23-19

Round 4/Pick 103
The Pick: Greg Gaines, DL, Washington

Arizona can use a dominant presence on the interior. Gaines is more of a two-down run plugger. However, he has some (not much) pass rush ability. He would be a solid addition to their defensive line rotation.
