DEEP FRIED DRAFT
Jackson needs to get stronger. He has a relative lack of experience, only starting one full season.
Jackson has tremendous ball skills. He breaks on the ball so well. Jackson has good length. He is a sure tackler in run defense.
DFD COOKBOOK RECIPE
66 tackles, 8 interceptions, 24 PBU, 2 defensive TD
Today we are going to look at a productive cornerback prospect. Josh Jackson was a two-star recruit from Lake Dallas HS (Corinth, TX). Iowa was his only Power-5 conference offer. Jackson redshirted his first year before playing sparingly as a freshman. He played in twelve games a sophomore, starting one. This past season, Jackson started every game. He notched eight interceptions (3 against Ohio State) and led the nation in passes defended. Jackson was a consensus first-team All-American.
2017: Iowa State, Wyoming, Penn State, Purdue, Ohio State
Josh Jackson has some of the best ball skills for a corner in this draft. He could stand to put on a little extra weight and get stronger. Jackson has a bright future and I would not be surprised to see him drafted in Round One.
